Bacon & Barrels is the definitive outdoor festival for the bacon obsessed foodies and those who prefer their drinks from a barrel. Bacon & Barrels was started in 2013 in Los Olivos, Santa Barbara’s wine country, and attracts a sellout crowd as soon as tickets go on sale. Based on the success and popularity in the north, this upscale and fun food festival headed south to San Diego's Embarcadero Marina Park South in 2014! The day time event challenges participating chefs to create their most imaginative, fresh recipes incorporating bacon, and highlighted the best artisan and craft barrel beverages such as bourbon, beer, wine, and scotch. The best mixologist and chef of the event was awarded the "Jefe del Porko" award and the title of Top Chef in next year’s VIP tent.
