1. Bacon. (Duh)
This one needs no explanation.
2. More Shade
Lots more shade. We are bringing on the masters of shade: SpinCycle. They specialize in installing massive shade sail structures for events like Coachella, and now Bacon & Barrels! We're working hard to bring maximum comfort to our bacon-atics!
3. VIP's get love
Yeah, they do. For the Saturday all-day Bacon Festival: Exclusive VIP only tastings, VIP Bathrooms, Your own event entrance and early entrance time (at 12 noon), chilling in the VIP Lounge with Iron Chef Vic Casanova, access to the VIP Lounge with VIP only Tastings from top Chefs and Mixologists. VIP's also get two extra days of bacon-fun! The insane Friday Night VIP Dinner at Saarloos & Sons Field by Chef Jake O. Francis (of course the dinner is paired with wines from our friends at Saarloos & Sons). You can check out the full Friday night menu here. Sunday is the Bacon, Bellini, Bloodies Brunch.
4. Sunday's Bacon, Bellini, Bloodies Brunch
Few things in life are as certain as this: Sunday means Bacon, and Vodka, and Bubbles. We know this, you know this. We decided to share in our favorite day of the week with YOU, our bacon loving friends! Join us back in the field as we bring you a brunch so beautiful, so tasty, that it can only be described as bacon-mazing. Let's make Ron Swanson proud.
5. The Music
We sought out bands that would bring a high-energy live show and would represent the festival, which aims to celebrate food, libations and music. The Silent Comedy and The Monroe bring an energy and talent that will leave you fans of their music. The Silent Comedy has opened for Dave Matthews Band, has a song featured on the History Channel's Men Who Built America, and are all-around bad-ass live performers. The Monroe are new on the music scene but already building a name for themselves on the festival circuit.
